Used to make cheese and beans toasties in one of those after the pub. Tasty as, but prone to relieving your mouth of several layers of skin if you tucked in too quickly.

Used one a lot as a student. Had some great toasties. Beans, cheese and tomato as well as any left over minced based meal we had made the night before.

Rather just have cheese on toast these days. With coleslaw...

Had one years ago . Bugger to clean . Now make toasties on the George Foreman . Taste just as good , and you don't get those edges as hard as granite

'cheese' slices melt ace in them, with onion & maybe a bit of mustard.

have made cheeseburger ones before now.

Sits in the cupboard most of the year, only comes out of retirement when I have to go to Lagos as the hotel food is so awful so I cook my own..

Cheese and ham or cheese and spring onion for me.

Really tasty but still goes back in the cupboard when I get back home. A bit like Funes-Mori the longer out of rotation and the better the memories.

By the way, I made an entire breakfast on one once. Eggs, bean, sausage, bacon!

Jam butties go well but are dangerously hot.

Panini presses are much better. Better results and much tastier. Also a lot easier to clean. Winner.
