Yep, mine has 3 sets of plates, works a a toastie maker, a panini press or a waffle iron. It's pretty sweet.

Bolognese toastie is the one, btw.

Cheese, tomato and Worcester sauce is good but like lava.

And no matter what you try, the cheese is stick think and a pain to clean up.

Yeah, the flat plate presses are much much better. Fantastic for toasting wraps too. My kids love them..

Sliced or off cut meat, ham, beef, lamb, pastrami
Onion
Grated cheese
Olives
Seasoning, maybe some tabasco or worcestershire, depending on mood

Used one a lot as a student. Had some great toasties. Beans, cheese and tomato as well as any left over minced based meal we had made the night before.

Rather just have cheese on toast these days. With coleslaw...
