Hmm but doesn't Delph play his position ? Think that ship may have sailed myself.
The boys 18, he was never coming in to start every week.

Exactly, and Delph isnt a long term solution at the position. Instead, you get a player who can play now with experience, and you pair him with the 18 year old that has to learn it, and who will pass him in 2 years. Part of investing wisely in young players is not just buying them when they are young and cheap, but then developing them, and that means putting them in the best place to learn and succeed.
