I want to say a sincere thank you to every single blue that stood with us and supported the protest today. Regardless of if you actually stayed behind at Goodison with us or even just supporting us in spirit, it mattered. There's very little to like about this club right now but all I can think about regarding the club after today is this:

Fair sentiment. But there's a few people in the world for whom dawn will not come tomorrow.

Everton are like my Gran. She's a 90-year old incontinent, unable to walk, with branch block disorder, dementia and colitis to name but a few problems. But she just hangs on and on and on and on.

It would be a massive kindness if she went, just like I feel it would be a kindness if Everton went. Relegation isn't a guarantee of a fresh start and a better long-term future, but I just hate this waiting.

I fully support the protest and realise it's a sacrifice but if it's to the detriment to the team what good is it?
Empty stands are an image that can be broadcast around the world. Even angry Goodison would be better.

We could substitute protest for Sulk!! It would be difficult to tell who was the home team from the TV audio. I know it can be manipulated but I doubt it. The toxic negativity from 30+ thousand Evertonians cannot be a good thing for the team. If the Crowd are the 12 man, We are playing with 8 if today is going to be the case for the rest of the season we will definitely be relegated.

I've said it and I'll say it again. Our fanbase will not wake up until we go through actual relegation, and it's happenning before our eyes.
