I mean the fact that most of the people pushing it have content to push on YouTube and Twitter, so they have a personal imterest in being loud, over the top mouth pieces. Its all about self promotion for a lot of them, which is why the opinions are always extreme and never comsidered. Its all "We want action" but its never the right "Action".

The board have made plenty of mistakes, i would say many have been honest mistakes, in that they made a choice and it backfired. Most people werent bothered when it looked like we might be going to spend our way to success, but unfortunately, a few bad appointments, a few failed signings, and a restless, angry crowd thats watching that lot dominate the league for 5 years (thank god for Man City, or this wouod all be so much worse), a swift rule chsmge on spending, a global pandemic, our world class manager getting his house burgled by some scumbags, and a war breaks out in Russia, and we find ourselves up the proverbial creek without a paddle.

You literally couldnt write. Unless you had watched us for 30 odd years.

Good response Kev and one I understand where you may be coming from.....but.....

Let's take away what any fan or group may get from it (monetary wise for example) and take it down to basics - they're all genuine Everton fans with genuine concerns. I 100% believe that mate.

The board have made far too many mistakes, more than enough, they do not deserve an inch of leeway or compassion or understanding. This has been going on for years now so now is the time to say enough is enough.

But...and i say this genuinely Kev, go the game and support the lads and if you have plans after the game for your birthday then you have a fantastic birthday mate and let's hope for 3 points to get your birthday celebrations up and running ?

Saw someone throw a bottle of Peroni down the stairs against Leicester.

Sadly, we’ve got a fair few bells who follow us, which certainly adds to the toxicity.
You just know it will be us that gets made an example off, just look at how our pitch invasion last season got reported

Like most protest's, all will depend on the result. If we win I'd imagine it will be muted just like the 27th minute one against Arsenal, if we lose or draw then it really hate to think what happens.

I understand that the NSNOW campaign will be distributing flyers on Saturday asking all fans who care to join the sit-in to act sensibly... no pyros, fireworks, aggressive behaviour etc.
This demonstration of feeling over the way the club is owned and run is actually a movement of support for Everton Football Club - the club we all love and want the best for.

Cheers mate.

And I do agree. We have failed. A lot.

I like to try and be reasonaboe and see both sides, so i can see how/why many of the decisions were made. Whether i agreed or not. And I understand people worrying or not being happy, we all feel it.

Im just not sure the aggressive stance from some is the right way to go about it, and in my mind, the way the protests are rallied by these people with the loudest voices ends up a) alienating large groups of fans, b) causing escalating aggression by those who still dont know how to behave reasonably in public, c) only creating further distance/dissonance and lack of trust between the owners/board and the fans, and d) negativity potentially seeping in to the performance from the team, which lets be honest, needs all the help it can get.

But yes, i will try and enjoy the game, and hope for a good result, as always.

Maybe they can do me a birthday favour for once.

Don’t you think that’s narrow thinking given what’s happened over the years? That as fans we all have to think long term rather than short term reactionary ? Not a dig at you of course.

I'll be attending the coach greeting, gonna give it my all during the game, I've been too negative in the stands this season, gonna really try and rally the lads on during the match. Then I will be participating in the sit in, I'm 24, I've not seen an ounce of success at the club other than the odd season where we qualified for Europe or reached a semi or something. I'm unhappy with how we are being ran, I hope more people can attend than last season which was against Villa I believe, the turn out wasn't massive. I do respect everyone who doesn't want to participate however, there is a cold pint in the pub or a hot meal waiting at home. It's important we all try our best to rally the team on during the game though, COYB

It’s not wholly and exclusive to Everton, every team has its share of idiots.

But some of the things I see in the Lower Gwladys over the past 18 months has been shambolic.

The fans frustration has boiled over now, and some just take it too far.

Just hope we don’t do anything to be made an example of, for.

Cheers mate.

I genuinely think we've come to the "end game" now mate, hence groups joining together. Failure (and a 28 year stint at that) will cause aggression, anger and mistrust.

Failure mixed with lies (and a 28 year stint at that) will cause aggression, anger, frustration and mistrust

Relegation will happen with or without the above seeping into the atmosphere at Goodison. The main thing is, it needs to be said, it needs to be acknowledged that it simply isn't good enough, it needs to be shown that it isn't acceptable.

Saying/doing nothing isn't an option if we all want to stand there as an Evertonian with our head held high and say we don't want to rock the boat. My son is 14, he's seen nothing but absolute failure. Due to work I can't go to anywhere near as many games as I'd love to and used to, but that doesn't mean I'm less passionate about my club and I tell him straight its not good enough, its not acceptable.

Because if we accept it now, (like we have done for 28 years) then we are accepting failure for our kids and we'd be better off telling them to support the rs and just roll over and let them take over the City.

Just human nature mate, it's a results business and the result will dictate the mood. If I was able to go to the game Saturday I'd cheer on the team with all my heart, I wouldn't boo or moan unless it was the referee I was moaning at. I've always despised Kenwright so I would have no problem staying to protest after the game.

Kenwright has to go and he should have been made go 15 years ago, that was the narrow thinking that the fans have been guilty off.

Honestly don't think a sit-in protest is anywhere near enough, although I do applaud those joining in to at least show their disapproval.

There needs to be mass leaflet drops in every corner of the ground, protests before, during AND after the game both inside and outside of the ground at the Park End executive entrance, and banners in every stand with a simple message to the board: Leave Everton now.

I'd very happily donate money towards this cause as I know it takes substantial planning and that materials cost a lot of money if we're talking leaflets and banners.

I think a sit-in protest achieves nothing at all.
