Given that there are somewhere around 32000 ST holders, if people didn’t attend, the club wouldn’t be that bothered as they’ve already had our money.
I know but it sends a strong message, it shows how committed people are, the sit in has allready been dismissed by Farhad before its even happened

He might have dismissed it in that nonsense interview with Jim White but, behind the scenes I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s hugely concerned about the potential size of the sit-in and how it’s portrayed and reported in the media.

In the past, the club have put out some positive stories (like the stadium updates) whenever there have been murmurings of discontent. There's been nothing like that for weeks which suggests there is no good news or they just don't care. I doubt a sit in will bother moshiri too much.

Yeah thats true, he needs a rocket up his ass and too wake up, if this is a success he cant ignore it

My lad is 10 and on the waiting list for a season ticket. I really feel for him having to put up with his mates pointing out how rubbish Everton are and him not really having any come back. I went the game every week with my dad, he died nearly 2 years ago. The whole decline of the club since the Premier League began is disgusting. Big Nev is right- the problems started when we were told finishing 10th was an achievement.
So I’ll be staying on Saturday, as others have said, I don’t think it will make a short term difference to our chances of staying up, but there’s a bigger picture. I owe it to my dad, who saw us win things regularly, I owe it to my son who has seen nothing but rubbish in his time supporting Everton. If you’re lucky enough (?!) to be able to go on Saturday, you owe it to other blues; ones who can’t afford a ticket, blues who are geographically too far away, blues who are sadly no longer with us and the next generation who need a club they can be proud of. I’ll support the players on the pitch during the same, but I’ll make sure I make the point with others at the final whistle that this is not good enough. NSNO.
This all day long!! I don’t post much, but this is exactly how I feel. I’m 40 and have seen us win 1 trophy, don’t remember the title in 87, but we’ve become a laughing stock of football in this country. I’ve got a West Brom supporting mate who takes the piss out of me, that’s where we are now. I don’t go the game anymore, had a season ticket through the 90s and was at the Wimbledon and Coventry games. We had something then we don’t have now, fight and heart. I’m fully in support of those who are staying behind on Saturday, I’d be staying too. I fear for us, I think we’re already down this season as we have no fight anymore, no leaders, no Joe Parkinson’s or Barry Horne’s, no Dave Watson’s no Big Nev. No fight, no heart, no hope.

How many seats would have to be empty to send a message tho.
I reckon about 40%.
If, somehow, 25% joined that kind of protest that's the gate gone from 40k to 30k.
That wont bother the board/owner in the slightest.

This protest tomorrow won't bother them either, Farhad has already dismissed it, you saying it's pointless tomorrow?

Off out for a Birthday meal. Yes, im fully expecting a kick in the nuts for my Birthday.

1 year, Sylvester Stallone turned up, which was pretty cool. Then we drew with Reading.

At least its not a derby.
Sylvester Stallone turned up, which was pretty cool !! You having a laugh?

Honestly don't think a sit-in protest is anywhere near enough, although I do applaud those joining in to at least show their disapproval.

There needs to be mass leaflet drops in every corner of the ground, protests before, during AND after the game both inside and outside of the ground at the Park End executive entrance, and banners in every stand with a simple message to the board: Leave Everton now.

I'd very happily donate money towards this cause as I know it takes substantial planning and that materials cost a lot of money if we're talking leaflets and banners.

I think a sit-in protest achieves nothing at all.
Definitely NOT during the game, I’ll be roaring on Everton‘s players during the game and saving my displeasure for after the game and however long the protests last for, I want my club to survive, it’s in it’s present precarious state due to the way it’s been very badly run by people who have no idea how to run a multi million pound business,no idea at all.
