Scolari Sacked!

tbh it doesnt surprise me, and hopefully this is the implosion and the end of chelsea that we have all wanted for so long.

I hope they get no new manager and you'd have to be a very stupid person to take the job if you wanted it for more than a few months..wonder how long it will be for abramovich to p.iss off, thankfully he sacked avram after the champs league final and now scolari after 6 months? bbc say it cost them 25million to get rid of him 0.o...why oh why cant eufa come in and demand all debts to be paid off or something?

Hiddinks a great manager. I dont see why they dont just get Mourinho back, he shouldnt have gone in the first place.

Their biggest mistake wasn't letting Mourinho or Grant go - it was losing Steve Clarke.

My money would be on Hiddink, Grant should have too much pride to even consider going back (unless they offer him an astronomical pay rise!)...

Mancini, Schuster or Rjikaard could be outsiders.

"Unfortunately the results and performances of the team appeared to be deteriorating at a key time in the season.

"In order to maintain a challenge for the trophies we are still competing for we felt the only option was to make the change now.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

What a pantomime. Glad that we're not subject to the whim of a character like that. Both Grant and Jose were good enough for the job anyway. Another bad day for football.(n)

What a joke!

I liked the man and you could see he was changing their old crickety team making them actually decent to watch. Half a season in the job and he's sacked?

The Chelsea mob seem so far self-deluded after a few seasons of winning things that not being top after Christmas is a sackable offence.

They're still in the title race, in the Champions league and FA Cup....but nah, sack a manager who's won a world cup.

Joke. Really is.

EDIT - Oh yeah, it'll probably mean Villa are dead on for 3rd too

Still want to get rid of Kenwright?

I hope that this signals the start of a slide from Chelsea (the next Newcastle, maybe?) and a re-establishment of something like stability and commonsense.

I don't wish ill on the football club but even some die-hard Chelsea fans must know that they've been a genetic freak messing up the gene pool since Abramovitch's arrival. Surely some semblance of balance can return.

Feel a bit sorry for Scolari but no doubt he'll be back in very soon.

And hands off Moysie!!

It would be great to see a Chelsea collapse. Imagine them and Arsenal going to the dogs and Villa and Everton taking 3rd and 4th.

I can dream :D

But I think the fans have played a part in getting him sacked.

A set of fans that a few years ago were just an mediocre mid-table team. Win a few things and its all doom and gloom that you're not 1 point from the top and smashing teams week in week out.

Its was called a transgression - Scolari was changing a boring team up.

I reckon Scolari is probably glad to be out of it, and with his £25m, is rubbing his hands with glee.
