there should be more regional groups in UEFA. If England is say a 2 seed, Ireland a 3 and scotland a 4 they should all be grouped together.

I thought you had the Scots on the back foot for a lot of the first half, and then looked dangerous on the break break in the second half. Seamus wasn't himself though and McGeady seemed affected by the whole "occasion", I'd expect you'll get the sae, result come the reverse game.

Would never happen mate, FIFAs "partners"need the big markets to qualify for major tournaments hence England and the like always get easy Qualifying groups, it's a pity for those countries they tank at every tournament with no expierence of competitive international football.

We missed James McC, Whelan and Houlihan badly.

We hardly created a chance, even when we were on top. Scotland started going up a gear after about 30 minutes and never looked back. We just fired hopeful long balls for Walters to win. Coleman and McGeady are fine so I'm NEA. Gibson has to start getting a little bit more match fit before his welfare becomes important to me again.

No love lost between the Scottish and Irish. Players and supporters. Thought there was some sort of Celtic brotherhood going on. I'm glad.
