He had every right to. Wright stood off the Frankfurt player who crossed the ball, and Bassey didn't get across Boree who was his man to defend.Difficult to take that last night. I've no idea what Goldson was doing when that cross came in for their equaliser. All he had to do was clear the ball, it should have never got passed him. He's been guilty of this on quite a few occasions this season. Then he looks about at other players to shout at.
Need to put thus in context though, it's been good old run. Never thought we'd get this far after losing the first 2 group stages games.
Fair enough about Wright standing off his man, but Goldson should have cleared that cross. All day.He had every right to. Wright stood off the Frankfurt player who crossed the ball, and Bassey didn't get across Boree who was his man to defend.
Both players ball watchingFair enough about Wright standing off his man, but Goldson should have cleared that cross. All day.
It seems that whoever takes on the job has to be willing to work under certain ‘conditions’ with regards to recruitment.Hibs about to commit another monumental stupidity this morning by announcing serial failure Lee Johnson as manager / Chairman’s stooge.
No. Any CB dangling out a leg at that cross would have been in danger of scoring an OG.Fair enough about Wright standing off his man, but Goldson should have cleared that cross. All day.
I think the Rangers fans were stewed to be honest, having sampled a European final myself in Rotterdam it is a long day leading up to the game and by the time the match starts you are completely drained.Frankfurt fans: they only had a third of the stadium if that, but they were magnificent. They completely out sung the rangers support. Only briefly after their goal did the Rangers fans turn up the volume.
Surprised how early those frankfurt fans took their seats.I think the Rangers fans were stewed to be honest, having sampled a European final myself in Rotterdam it is a long day leading up to the game and by the time the match starts you are completely drained.
I know the Germans also like a drink but you could see by the close ups of both sets of fans which group had maybe over indulged
Now, now davek, that’s a bit cheeky. Will you be supporting Rangers again in the Scottish Cup final?
Agree, they peaked in the bars six hours before the game and looked as dead on their feet as the players.I think the Rangers fans were stewed to be honest, having sampled a European final myself in Rotterdam it is a long day leading up to the game and by the time the match starts you are completely drained.

I hope Rangers are absolutely spent from last night and that Hearts thrash them on Saturday.
But I would sell my left kidney for a 1-0 Hearts win, a scruffy last minute goal off someone’s backside.
I hope Hearts thrash them too.
Rangers look dead on their feet. I expect a Hearts win.
