Your team: I was looking at them and one thing struck me: why are so many of them porkers? They look massively out of shape. Goldson, Lundstram, Morelos and Arfield are utter whales. They need to shed about a stone and half each.

Rangers looked slow and sluggish and I wonder about the conditioning they have there.
I agree, considering how the Rangers players looked much fitter than celtic in the last 2 OF games last season. It's almost like there hasn't been as much focus on fitness in the pre-season

Can't really say much about yesterday. The better team won. McLaughlin is not the answer in goals. I was very surprised we didn't sign a keeper in the transfer window. I was more disappointed with the lack of creativity and aggression from the team than the actual scoreline.
There's still a long way to go.
Don't know if they're concentrating on Europe but 5 points and a street length in goal difference, there may be a long way to go but we have only seen a snapshot of how the league season is going to pan out.
Celtic will win this league at a canter and yesterday only reinforced my belief.

BTW if Celtic carry their league form into Europe that will be a massive bonus for them but they've been poor the last few years and I can't see that changing this season.

Glad the Rangedogs are accounted for, was worried there

Who do you boys want to replace the Diddy man as manager? McCoist?
No need to worry, us Rangedogs are just fine and dandy. The better team won. Our defence/goalkeeper/midfield was honking. Congrats on the win, it was deserved (with a little help from our team, who decided not to show up).
We're still half a team down with injuries. No need for panic.

You might be right. But I was surprised at Gio's selection, which may have been down to the enormous injury list at Ibrox. I Hope Gio knows that doing well in Europe is all well and good, but the league should be priority (unless the money men have told him to focus on Europe for the £s). 5 points of a gap at this stage is not good though. Any more points dropped and there will be huge pressure on Gio, which might not be fair, I think the players let him down the other day.
On a more positive note for Scottish fitba, did anyone see Josh Doig's full debut in Serie A? Scored the winner and had an outstanding game. That's 1 goal and 1 assist in 1 full game and 2 sub appearances. What a start to his Italian career.
