I am not blind to that lot over the park. You need to remember that. I am not blind to football in general either, unlike some. It's a fact that Liverpool fans are vile at times. It is simply my opinion that The Rangers are much worse. You can leave the kopite apologist nonsense behind. Come to a game with me. I'll show you Goodison, the surrounding areas and all. You'll know a bit more about what you're talking about then. By the way, I've been to Turner's Cross to watch your local team. Great place
Rangers fans worse than the rs fans, i really don't think so. This indeed must be quite the spectacle indeed to other people. An argument about which set of fans are worse the rs or Rangers! I've been to Liverpool plenty of times. I know the city and it's people very well. There is good reds fans, but the bad element really leave both them and their fine city down. Something really does need to be done about it at this stage. This carry on has been ignored for way too long.

The rs have a proud history of anti Irish hatred and bigotry as well. They never bothered signing a south of Ireland born catholic, until they signed Ronnie Whelan in 1979. There has been stories of Irish fans abused at rs games by their fellow rs fans as well. The rs should not be in anyway popular, to the extent that they are in Ireland imo.

Whatever about later years, Rangers were not founded on sectarian and religious grounds, none of it's founders were orange order members. The rs were founded on sectarian origins because John Houlding and John McKenna their first manager, were members of the anti Irish and anti catholic orange order.

You're trying too hard. Whelan wasn't the first RoI player to play for the rs. I'm not sure where you're going with your sectarian history lesson but while The Rangers possibly weren't founded on sectarian grounds (and I don't know much about that), they certainly operated an anti catholic stance for a long time. Agreed? Whilst the club now has a more tolerant policy against catholics, their supporters have possibly not followed suit. Anyway, forget religion, it's irrelevant in football. Agreed?

Yeah he was the first ROI player to play for the rs, Steve Heighway grew up in England. Religion seems to be a bigger issue with you than it does with me tbh.

No mate, it's knowledge. Billy Lacie was from Wexford I believe. Good luck with your religion thing...
They went from 1924 to 1979 without signing another one though. 29th of May 1985 is all the knowledge i need to know really. I agree that Rangers have their faults for sure, it's just that the other lots crimes are bigger.

So we are dealing with two football clubs here, that have had their issues with religous bigotry, but Rangers fans have never been responsible for mass manslaughter though, and Rangers as a club have never been responsible, for treating the victims of mass manslaughter with total and utter contempt either.

Kopite apologist! Lad, spouting crap like that is your level. I am assuming (correct me if I'm wrong) that you neither were in Liverpool this week, as well as the Cork blue. If you know the layout of Goodison, the Dixie Dean statue was surrounded by coppers with dogs. The Rangers fans were getting their tickets in Bullens Road. I don't think I've seen a police presence like that at any game I've been to. I suppose they were waiting for someome to get pushed into Stanley Park lake? Get real lad, Rangers are a cancer on football.

Watch your language lad. I am no kopite. Don't just get your opinions from the paper. Try coming to a match to see what it's like. I am fully aware of the lovable reds' behaviour and I am also aware of other club's behaviours too. Some nobody who doesn't go to the game won't change my mind as my opinions are made from experience. I suggest you stop trying so hard to be an uber blue.

The vilest supporters in Britain remains The Rangers.
I had a season ticket at Rangers for 7 years and never seen any trouble in all that time. My son and grandson still have them.

You must have been sitting at a different Rangers to witness those so called vile supporters.

This guy even goes into the trouble of digging into the rs archives, to defend his pathetic scummy excuse of a football club!lol
Yes, you're a bigger Evertonian than me aren't you? Oh, and while you're at it, show me where I have defended Furlough FC. I wouldn't know where to find 'rs' archives. I do read up on football history though. You should try it. It comes in handy when talking to clowns.

What's going on here? You never seem to post an opinion on Everton related matters. You always loiter around the current affairs forum. It just seems a little bit odd to me.

Stick to the subject, Krusty.
It just that the lengths you are going to defend the rs, and your lack of interaction on the main Everton forum, makes me highly suspicious of your motives, intentions and agenda. Only a red would try to argue the toss, about the fact that the rs and it's supporters, have committed bigger and more serious crimes than Rangers have ever did.

You're all over the place lad. Show me where I have ever defended them? I'll give you a clue, I haven't, couldn't and won't. Where I post on any forum at all is my business, so don't worry yourself about that. My original post was about The Rangers. They are, in my opinion, the vilest support in the UK. Liverpool aren't far behind them, but they are behind them.
