I thought the ref had a good game, he had a few decisions to make and I think he was fair.
Celtic pen was a deffo handball, Rangers pen could have gone either way, if he'd have waited for the contact it was a deffo but he was already going down so was debatable.
Game of two halves, Celtic should have put you to the sword but as you said earlier you came back well and could have nicked it.
I enjoyed watching it, all down to next old firm game IMO.
I hope there's more contentious decisions.
Folk will be arguing with themselves....

It only seems like last week when Celtic were denied a penalty by VAR when a Livingston defender made no contact whatsoever with the ball, and made contact with Kyogo.

Now were being told the Celtic defender making contact with the ball, and the Rangers player running into his leg is a penalty!

It's almost as if the rules change weekly, depending on whether its Rangers who are playing, or not...

Personally, I wouldn't have given that one either as I think a penalty should only be given when a player is brought down, and not when he feels slight contact and goes down..

It seems bizarre to me that VAR official Nck Walsh saw Silva's dive today as a penalty, but didn't see Tavernier fouling Jota last years as a penalty.

Prime Brother Beaton on display today

Scottish football fans take exception when English supporters call our league a pub/farmers league, yet allows people who support a team to officiate at their games. It's beyond two bob. It's an embarrassment.

I can only speculate as to the reasons why UEFA have cottoned on the great money saving scheme of allowing officials to officiate at European ties involving teams from their country?

Surely it would make more sense to have that, rather than having teams of officials travel to a neutral country and stay in hotels etc? After all, officials are all beyond reproach, as we're often told in Scotland. 😏

Rangers will be happy enough with the draw. It's all in their hands now. No amount of middle fingers will change that i'm afraid!

Could have gone 5 clear, but you didn't

A trip to Parkhead in the split, and Celtic have a handful more home games

If that favours Sevco, fair play. Not sure how you've come to that conclusion, but never quite get how your mind works Corky!

Off the topic of Scottish football but people here have the same logic for relegation in our case and celebrating draws so I dunno, pot kettle and all that lol
