I hope they do well Mikey mainly for big Eck, I liked all his attributes as a player and he's on a hiding to nothing taking on the National job, it's as if nobody actually wants to play for them anymore with so many call offs which I find quite sad.

But tedious games like this don't stir the imagination imo.
It really is time the Scots turned up at finals.
Whole generation have missed out.

Games like this have always tended to be the ones the Scots have faltered in though

You turn up against the big teams but then slip up away to Georgia and the like

Scotland winning this would be a huge statement I think, it would suggest you're over the hump in that regard

6 min: That’s a dreadful goal to concede. It came from a nice clipped pass from half-way that should never have caught out Scotland’s defence. But McKenna and Shinnie looked bewildered as Pertsukh ran beyond them and took down the pass with a lovely first touch and then cracked a super finish into the roof of the net from 16 yards. Oh Scotland!

A bad start has just nosedived! Again Scotland’s defence is opened up far too easily, as Kuat has time and space to thread a fine pass behind Shinnie, who again looks lost. Vorogoskiy slides in to slot the ball into the net from eight yards.

And they beat Hungary, a team who qualified for the last Euro's, 3-2 away from home only recently
