He’a a decent enough player. He’s strong for a guy his size, but let’s face it I’m almost 60, and I’ve scored as many goals against Celtic as he has.

He is by far the most indisciplined player I’ve ever seen. It’s not that he’s really dirty, like Souness, and tries to end people’s csreers, just that he can’t stop getting involved in petty feuds with opponents, and doesn’t seem to care that he could be sent off.

Anyone paying fifteen million pound for him shouldn’t be working in football. A third of that amount would still be a gamble. Rangers are desperate to get rid of him, and are just trying to ramp up the fee.

I think you're underestimating the obscenity of modern transfer fees. There will be managers out there who will think they can mould him into a calmer player who can get them double figures a season. At 15m I reckon someone would pay it. Maybe someone in a position like a Southampton or a Palace.

I think you're underestimating the obscenity of modern transfer fees. There will be managers out there who will think they can mould him into a calmer player who can get them double figures a season. At 15m I reckon someone would pay it. Maybe someone in a position like a Southampton or a Palace.

I've always said never underestimate the ability of English managers to spunk insane amounts of money on players, but a player who hasn't scored against Celtic in almost two full seasons, and who disciplinary record makes him a complete lability? I reckon they'll do well to get 7 million. Even then I would be slightly surprised if they manage to get that amount.

Dembele left Celtic for 20 million, but he scored in most of our big games, and scored in The Champions League, which is surely a much bigger yardstick to measure someone's ability than whether they get a hat trick against Hamilton Academicals etc?

Rangers are bad losers. It's as simple as that. They goaded Scott Brown in December when they beat Celtic, and he ignored it but now the shoe is on the other foot and he's given them a wee bit back, they can't handle it.

Gerrard is a perfect match for them. As the photo shows, it's alright when he winds up opposition fans, but it's a heinous crime when opposition players do it to his supporters.
