Cove Rangers are up.
Great win for Cove today , fully deserved. I’ve seen them twice this season and theyve been by far the best Highland League side, although Brora were pretty good too. You can’t help but admire such a good footballing team even when they’re thrashing your own team . A bit of a shame that their No9 Mitch Megginson didn’t score today , it would have been his 50 th this season . He’s a class act and scored one of the best headed goals I’ve seen this season , he’ll thrive again next season along with four or five of their players who could play in higher leagues.
Nearly 2000 at last week’s home first leg apparently, so they should do well crowd wise. They always have a hard core of supporters who follow them away , and at this level were great for the friendly banter.

What the hell is Defoe doing there? I have lost all respect for him after that.

He did the same thing against St Mirren, and Kilmarnock. He throws himself through the air, and flicks out his leg in an attempt to make contact, just like the old Stevie Gerrard shuffle his manager used to do. Incredibly, he hasn't been booked for any of these ludicrous dives, and actually got a penalty for it in the St Mirren game.
