It's traditional though isn't it? Scottish football wouldn't be the same without folk singing about Ireland.

...some are singing for Ireland and some are singing for England. I went at Christmas and the atmosphere is amazing but I think the contents of the songs cross the line regardless of tradition, and regardless of which team you support.

It's not right and it has to stop.I am in no doubt, that the vast majority of the Rangers support, want this sort of singing and chanting to stop. But there is problems with a small but albeit vocal minority of the support. There's no two ways about it there.I think the chairman has said that Rangers is a club for all, and i would like to think that is now the case as well.Although it is sad, that these sort of measures have to be implemented. But if you won't learn the easy way, then you'll learn the hard way i suppose.

Away from home it's not a small minority.
Shutting parts of the ground won't make a difference imo.
The answer.
It's not my problem tbh.

Morton v Partick on bbc Scotland.
Think @centralTon turned off already.
Couldn't switch of @Alanbileysfeathercut , I was there.

Morton 3 v 2 Partick

Tactical masterstroke by 'Ton manager David Hopkin to tell the whole team to be brutal, miss decent chances and allow Partick to score 2 goals due to schoolboy defending in the first half. This allowed Partick to start the second half thinking they just had to turn up for all 3 points, however, big Hoppy must've told the boys to stop f'ing about and start playing, and they did. The introduction of John Sutton and debut boy Luca Coalville completely changed the shape of the team allowing us to be more direct and when Nicky Cadden scored from a free-kick it was only a matter of time before Sutton and then McLean both scored from corners.

This is where it shows you never go to games Corky, the whole of Ibrox sings and bounces to these songs week in and week out so what makes you think it is 'The vast majority' that want it to stop? you really do spout some wham and have not got an utter clue as to what goes on during Rangers home games.

That is totally incorrect, and wishful thinking on your part.Too much reading of the tabloids, going on here me thinks.

No. @larbert toffee is absolutely correct. If you had ever actually gone to see the Rangers and felt obliged to be up to your knees in Fenian blood, as they do, maybe you would open your eyes and see things differently, who knows.
Do you realise that they would absolutely destroy you if you ever left yer "mammy's" boosom in the comfort of Cork to go and see the "tarrier" haters?
You are a "tarrier" to them.

Ok I'm totally wrong, The majority of Rangers never sing secterian songs , they are not facing UEFA sanction and are the best behaved supporters in the land, don't think the city of Manchester might agree with that though somehow.
I only wished you showed half the passion about Everton as you do about all the other teams you support, all we read on here is your negative wham take on Everton, go and bore some other team's site.

A Jon Daly from Dublin played for them.He was top scorer in 2013/2014.They had a guy from Cobh as a sub goalkeeper as well, called Alan Smith although he never played for the first team.So no, i don't see it as that black and white tbh.

Oh well wow that makes it alright then, Jon Daly and a guy from Cobh.

If you got off your arse and spent as much time following all of your teams about as you do reading and spouting absolute tosh on here you might get taken a little bit more seriously as it is you know hee haw about what goes on inside Glasgow stadiums.
