Michael Stewart has been replaced on Sportscene by James McFadden. After the way Jim Spence was treated, we've already seen what happens when you tell the truth about the rangers on the BBC.

Removing Stewart from his Sportscene gig is an absolute disgrace.
Stewart is a cock and Sportscene is the most cringe worthy program on TV

What has Stewart done to be rated as a cock? I tend to record Sportscene and just watch the Celtic highlights, so I don't know too much about it, but from what I've seen of the show it seems decent enough.
Nothing wrong with the footie, I watch that but the patter between the pundits and the host is amateur, pathetic and embarrassing, I didn't mind Stewart at first but he's gone right up his own backside and has now become the Scottish version of Lawrenson, I appreciate you may have your own opinion on him and I respect that, but that's my current take on him.

Fair enough. We're all entitled to our opinion.

In my opinion, Stewart is one for the few in the media who says what he thinks. I don't always agree with him, but I respect that he's giving his honest opinion, and isn't just kowtowing to the majority up here.

Stewart is one of the better ones, I'd say.

However, I can't watch or listen to Scottish football programmes for long without cringing at the banter.

I still mourn the old pros like Bob Crampsey who could be funny in a subtle way but knew all there was to know. Even Archie brings a tear to the eye!

To be fair, they were watching quality football every week and not the second rate rubbish we get now. They felt no pressure to hype the game up.

I can’t stand him , well I can’t stand him when he goes on a rant . This ‘says what he thinks ‘ thing is all well and good but if you go on rants you have to expect repercussions.

On the overall Morelos debate I think he has behaved pretty poorly on the pitch since his arrival and I expected him to get heavily criticised for the throat cut gesture . Unless I’m imagining it though he got racial abuse from the crowd when he got the red and the Aberdeen banner isn’t something football could ever excuse . So for anyone to say he hasn’t had treatment that’s OTT or unacceptable would seem to be uncontroversial . I’ve heard Stewart frankly skirt around that issue , if it was sterling in the premier league I don’t think it’d be avoided .

I've listened to the videos a few times, and it sounds to me like Morelos is being called an "Orange b*st*rd" and a "Hun b*st*rd" It may be like that Laurel/Yanni video from a couple of years ago, but I haven't heard any racist abuse aimed at Morelos. I wouldn't dream of saying in a stadium of over 60,000 mainly white males there won't be a few racists, and maybe the odd racist comment, but at the majority of the Celtic support is descended from Irish immigrants I would say you're less likely to hear it at Celtic Park than most big stadiums in the UK.

The banner about his mother was horrible. I don't know why fans think because they have paid money into a football match it gives them the right to hurl the mist vile abuse at footballers and in particular their families. Families of footballers should be off limits, in my opinion. It reminded me of the horrible old "Frank McGarvie/Derek Johnstone's wife's a hoor" chant of the early 80's.

Morelos is probably the most undisciplined footballer I've ever seen. He isn't like Graeme Souness, and dishes out potential career ending tackles, it's just that he constantly gives away niggly fouls, and constantly dives. He winds up the opposition support, and would surely expect to get slagged off for it, as long as the slagging doesn't go too far? I have to say, his cutthroat gesture, or Kent's shooting goal celebration, didn't bother me in the slightest.

In my opinion The Rangers PR guys have deliberately tried to portray Morelos as the victim of racism, and xenophobia etc to try and lessen any sentences from the football authorities, and also maybe give the club an excuse when he leaves for considerably less than the money the club , and supporters, seem to expect to receive. I wouldn't put it past them to be behind these tweets which claim to be from two different Celtic supporters. but have the same text, and were sent at the same time.

What's your view on Michael Mols' wife?
