What the what?

Get yer big ariel on the roof and have a listen to any local radio phone in in the Central Belt and the amount of paranoia, victimhood and conspiracy theories that come from your fellow Gers will remind you of a certain other club.

I would also point out that this is the fanbase that tried to have a riot in response to being legally wound up for being unable to pay the revenue its due for about a decade.

I think the only appropriate response here, is to go all Stone Cold Steve Austin. What what what?

Hello Alan, we haven't spoken in awhile. Im not entertaining anything in that post. We've been here before, im not getting dragged into it again. As for the sheep, two trophies since October 1989, is an accurate reflection of your lowly status in scottish football. That post has all the hallmarks of a man, who's had many's a dream ruthlessy crushed by Rangers. Make no mistake about it, the Dons are firmly in Rangers rear view mirror. Good luck on the battle for 3rd.

In fairness, it's been 9 years since any team playing out of Ibrox have lifted one of Scottish football's big trophies... :)

If something happens that displeases supporters of The Rangers, they just refuse to accept it, and invent a completely fictional scenario they can live with.

They then repeat this scenario over and over gain until it's accepted as fact, amongst themselves anyway, and if anyone in the media states the actual acts they try to get him/her sacked.

So the actual facts that David Murray ran up huge debts, and embarked on insanely risky tax evading policies then sold the club to a venture capitalist, with a long record of closing down companies, for one British pound, and under the helm of said venture capitalist the club went into administration, then liquidation, instead became "Our enemies tried to kill us off, but we fought back and save our club"

The SFA allowed the new club to assume the identity of Rangers FC but without all the bad stuff, an opportunity denied to Airdrie United and Gretna 2008, but supporters of The Rangers still blame the SFA more than they blame David Murray for what happened to their clubs...

just doesn’t sit right that

Strangely enough, Hearts didn't go to the courts when they were awarded a point from a game in which they fielded an ineligible player and their opponents, Cove Rangers, got nothing from the game.

Since I started watching football, if you field an ineligible player the game is awarded 3 - 0 to your opponents. Iirc ,this result would have eliminated Hearts from the Scottish League Cup, so they were awarded a point from the game. This allowed them to clinch qualification, I think at the expense of ICT.

In my humble opinion, it was blatant cheating, and if it had happened the other way round, the game would have been awarded 3- 0 to Hearts, though it wouldn't have made much difference to Cove Rangers who were getting "nul points" regardless of which team fielded the ineligible player.

to be fair mate you’ve encapsulated Scottish football perfectly . I’ve said two teams facing charges for challenging a decision to relegate them before the season was over, one of whom had a game in hand and were 2 points behind , is to talk about something from 2018 . It’s the very epitome of whataboutery.

you’re a Celtic fan and I see the logic that you can’t get the title if you then don’t relegate hearts . I understand that logic and that you’ve got a dog in the fight when it comes to that . My opinion differs it would have whether City or the RS were top ,if the season isn’t over it’s not over but regardless if we got relegated I’d challenge and if you’re honest so would you . They shouldn’t face charges it’s simply not right , whatever decision is reached the response isn’t correct in my opinion.
