More agenda driven bigotry.Branding a whole clubs support as bigots, pathetic stuff.Celtic fans partake in violence and sectarianism as well.
Thank you for your 4 line reply with absolutely no substance whatsoever, you monumental bore, I was not asked about Celtic, I was asked to explain my dislike for Rangers.
Why don't you tell us all about your experience of Celtic? In fact tell us all about your experience of a Rangers game, oh sorry forgot, you've never been to any.
Come back when you actually have some substance with which to argue

Stay on topic and keep the personal abuse out of it mate.

You dislike Rangers because of “what they stand for”?

What’s that?

I say this as a Celtic fan.

To those ignorant amongst us (of which I was one), Rangers not signing a Catholic player until Souness brought in Mo Johnstone was seen as despicable...until you learn Celtic reserve team coach Jock Stein was told he would never get the top job as he was a Protestant.

Having lived in a nationalist enclave in Norn Iron my entire life, both sides are as bad as each other.

Eh? Who told him that?

We'll ABF don't know what age you are but I'm sure you have had plenty of experience of secterianism in NI.
Born and brought up in Merseyside have now lived and worked for 40 years in Scotland, by admission Rangers as a club have cleaned up their act a little in the fact they now sign Catholics, however ( and I say this as someone whose best mate up here is a Ger STH) their supporters as a whole leave a lot to be desired and are still entrenched in their old values , they may both be as bad where you are I'm not going to argue I'll take that ar face value, however I can assure you up here Rangers fans are far worse in their behaviour than any other club period, not only did they manage to wreak havoc in Manchester but every small town they visited on their recent rise through the league's after they went bust would rather they hadn't visited.
I'm sorry but their fans still sing almost none stop about being ' Up to their knees in Fenian blood' and celebrating the battle of the Boyne and William of Orange.
I I have witnessed a father with a young son being surrounded and gobbed on near Hampden because he had the audacity to wear a Celtic scarf.
By the way whatever did happen to Jock Stein after he was told he wouldn't get the top job?
Bit of a weak example there mate.

The sanctimonious self righteous pomposity of this spiel, is off the scale.Celtic have been fined on numerous occasions, by Uefa for their fans behaviour.Banners celebrating and glorifying terrorist organisations, have been unfurled in the parkhead stands. But i think it's important, not to tar and brand a supporter base with the one brush, over the actions of a few idiots.

Where is the agenda driven bigotry here? tell me, even my missus is a Protestant meh! I've been asked a question and I've answered it honestly. Put up or shut up Corky tell us in your own words your personal experience of Celtic's violence or secterianism, that is YOUR experience not a journalist's

Cut and pasting newspaper reports, how easy is that, that's just lazy armchair posting.

Pages of dirge with only speculation and guessing, very little in the way of facts or information from a guy named English, oh the irony, you couldn't make it up.

Let's get your personal views on Scottish football not someone else's.

You get absolutely no respect from me on here, every other regular on this thread goes to games in wind and rain up here (They get even more respect from me for watching the diddy teams) and are perfectly entitled to air their views on here and I will listen and respect their personal opinion every time.

I won't listen to someone who has never been to a game of any of the dozen or so teams they support (Both Sheffield clubs?) and in particular someone trying to give an opinion of what the people of Scotland have to put up with when they've never even been arsed to venture over to see their beloved favourite team whose fans are still sadly locked in the dark ages and paranoid and of which your good self is a more than fine example.

Bolingoli 3 game ban, Aberdeen 8, 3 game suspended ban, both a little bit lenient IMO but it allows all to get on with the season, I'm hoping this will be a decent season, it's certainly started well, pleased to see Hibs, Aberdeen and Ross County make good starts, hope at least one of them can keep it going.
