The Highland League looks set to resume 17th October with a reduced fixtures list of just playing each team once, so eight home games , eight away. Social distancing for fans should be easy enough to achieve , though challenging in the Scottish winter if the rain/ snow start lashing it down and everybody heads for the covered terracing .

Sweet. That means Fort William should finish within 48 points of the champions. Onwards and upwards ;)

Although the Highland League was sensibly awarded to Brora , I’ve never seen an updated “points per match “ table. If they did then Fort would have finished 2nd from bottom with Lossie bottom. Onwards and upwards indeed! Mrs blueloon will be ecstatic.

Everton and Hibs

I think I'm an addict to disappointment and supporting those two clubs is the most efficient way to get my fix
I spent last night in the darkest den in Leith. There is no lessening of hope in that place. We've battled the Celts, Rangers and Hearts for years on and off the pitch and we're up for it again. All we need is a guy who can put his foot on the ball and look about. Johnny Collins in other words. He's pretty fit by the way!

Brora given up on challenge the play off?

Brora given up on challenge the play off?
Yeah they’ve pretty much given that up , Brora are just talking about the HL format these days and getting started again. Its a shame the opportunity wasn’t there amidst all the shambles that went on with the leagues. It may be difficult for Brora to get into the league this season even if they win the HL, Barry Ferguson’s Kelty Hearts who won the Lowland League have high ambitions and a bit of money to spend on players.
