I don’t think anyone outside of Scotland can really understand how bad it can get for managers in Glasgow.

My Glaswegian, Celtic supporting mate, likens it to South America.

I’m no fan of Lennon, but you look at some of the stuff he’s had to put up with from the fans off the field and you’ve got to say, that he must have incredibly thick skin and a very good security team around him and his family.

I hope Lenny takes a long rest and does some media work. He speaks well on the radio, has a wry sense of humour and isn't given to hype things up too much.

I watched PNE last night to see how Anthony Gordon was doing ( good as it happens). Alex Neil came over very well in the post match interval . I would imagine he has ambitions greater than Preston , knows Scottish football , wages wouldn’t be huge, though I’m not sure how much compensation he’d cost. He’s not somebody who’s featured on any bookies list that I’ve seen, so an interesting outsider I guess.

United, Spurs and Leicester (assuming they get through) certainly would, Benfica already scored 5 past them in the groups, Zlatan and Milan definitely would

Although their fans are worried about the defending.

Defending HAS to improve but going forward Rangers have been outstanding, get a favourable draw tomorrow and Rangers end up in the last 8 with the league won they can then concentrate fully on Europa league and I would fancy our chances against any of the teams left from then on in.
