Were you not offended when Liverpool broke lockdown regulations last summer?

And I would imagine most Evertonians would be rightly offended by your dig at Evertonians having nothing to celebrate. Or that you automatically assume we are as badly behaved as the likes of Liverpool. It's a pretty offensive statement, wholly innaccurate and to be honest pretty shameful for an Evertonian to stay.

Are you really that desperate to defend slippy and his team? That you'll be happy to throw Evertonians under the bus?
Mate, you really need to go and get yer hole!!

I hope your right mate. I wouldn't shed a tear if Hamilton went down. The coldest ground I've ever been too in the UK. Agree on Ross County, go about their business in the right way, and good to have a Highlands team in the mix.
Haha, I’ve got my own list of coldest Scottish grounds, and oddly Ice Station Murrayfield is at the top , mainly because it’s usually January/ February when I’m there and the exits are so poorly designed as to be wind tunnels for cold air. Pittodrie can be cold depending on which stand you‘re in and which way the wind blows. I have though come to the conclusion that standing up watching a Highland league game on a cold Wednesday night in February is just a case of wrapping up warm , stamping your feet , clapping your hands , it’s the sitting down which gets me! :)

Ha, sounds like I've got quite a way to go. Pittodrie is still one I've never been too, isn't it right on the water? Or am I confusing it with ICTfc

Remember Lenny's experience when he left Celtic to join struggling Championship side Bolton Wanderers. Although admittedly Bolton had far too many troubles already both financial and playing wise and turning that around would have been some achievement, Lenny was completely swamped and absolutely out of his comfort zone, he couldn't cope.

The lesson though is it takes a club in dire straits, and in that case a struggling second tier one, who can't attract a quality manager to look to Scotland. The days of Sir Alex and Aberdeen's manager being recruited by a first tier club have long gone.

A reminder that when United approached Fergie they weren't perennial winners but had been in the doldrums for years, had been relegated in recent memory, and only ever seriously competed for domestic cups being well below the top standard.

Fwiw the reputation of Scottish football isn't that great in England, Brendan Rogers move south to Leicester very much the exception and not so much of a risk because he'd already been proven his worth in England before Celtic. Lennon would have been a huge risk for any prem club and Gerrard has no proven record in the prem to attract real interest.

Managing Rangers or Celtic you should always be top two and it doesn't take a top drawer manager to win titles. It's understand then how mid table clubs in England, who with the TV riches can now pay very well indeed, might be firstly drawn to managers of a higher calibre or if they're not realistically attainable then at least those with a proven record in England, Stevie G. has neither the pedigree or proven record in England.

I said a while ago, I'm not sure his experience at Rangers will stand him in particularly good stead. I know I can be churlish with the fella and he winds me up, but I do think it goes beyond that to say what hes done probaby hasn't been ideal. The experience of managing one of the 2 big clubs in Glasgow allows you far greater resources than the rest of the league. Outside of City, United to a degree Chelsea you just don't get that here.

He has also exacerbated that in how he's managed Rangers. He's relied upon mainly older players and a feweffective hand me down "cheats" from PL teams. (And before those sympathetic to him accuse me of cheating, I don't mean he's cheating, but just that getting some great talents from Everton, Liverpool etc due to connections will not be available in the same way in England). Like Liverpool can give him most of their reserve team at "mates rates" and they will likely be towards the top end of the SPL. Ryan Kent, Ejaria etc. There is no equivalent relationship in England.

They play some nice stuff Rangers, and I'm not saying it's not a challenge, and the expectation is enormous, and one strength he has, is he clearly gets that, relishes it and knows how to channel it, whereas for most it would crush them, but in terms of transferable skills, I'm not sure it will set him up so easily.

Not sure what that means mate, but you enjoy the title win. I think I've made my feelings on Gerrard clear!
Means get laid....
I for one am glad rangers won as I'm a part time fan on my dad's behalf...
Bit of competition should help raise the poor standards north of the border
Fun fact I actually got to go to ibrox when li tie scored his only Everton goal, a winner after stubb's had scored the equalizer

Sturgeon (who I like) needs to do what our government were too cowardly to do when the Rangers of the south Liverpool did exactly the same thing- and call out what is absolutely appalling behaviour, and open up the conversation about points deductions.

Thats the only way their sort will ever learn.

I am genuinely stunned we've got Evertonians on this board parrotting nonsense like "oh they're just made a scapegoat of". Maybe follow the rules of a pandemic then. It's not scapegoating to call out selfish, highly dangerous behaviour.

What I don't understand about Police Scotland is they stood around and allowed TRIFC fans to watch the Livingston - RTRIFC game the other night. i can accept maybe they were taken by surprise, and thought it best not to start a rammy.

They don't have this excuse for yesterday. The newco supporters had been tweeting all week about going to Ibrox yesterday. When didn't they cordon off the area near the stadium?

They regularly kettle The Green Brigade, even when they're part of a peaceful march to support immigrants rights, but they stand back and allow thousands of TRIFC fans to mingle with the team at the stadium?

You'd think the fact Police Scotland is being sued for tens of millions because TRIFC supporting officers abused their powers might have made someone in the organisation wake up?

I think that's a bit harsh on him. His recruitment and man management appears to have been excellent

I agree. I don't like him, but you have to be honest and say he's done a good job since he inherited Pedro's easybeats.

Recruitment in particular has been good at Ibrox, and disastrous at Celtic Park. Last season Celtic had probably the best keeper in our history, and maybe the third best keeper in our history on the bench. This season we don't have one good goalkeeper.
