Hearts I know you have had a bad start to the season and when I seen the score line i was thinking this man will do well to survive but tell me if this is correct and may not so much Hearts but the teams just outside the top 2 seem to change their manager like my mrs changes her mind about what's for tea. Hibs and Aberdeen seem the worst offenders. It does not help when you are playing Thursday - Sunday -Thursday as I said you're not the worst offenders but just feels it may be a tad rash to an outsider.
We all wanted Naismith to succeed. But Hearts are the third-best supported team in Scotland and there is fierce demand there from the support that to the outsider often seems harsh. But it is what it is.

Ultimately, you can’t be losing eight games on the bounce.

You can't to be fair, any idea who will come in, Aberdeen have done well with the man they got, just wondering will Hearts look in that direction?

Yes, I do. Scandinavia seems to be a market mentioned most often in terms of a Tony Bloom-led appointment.

My guess is that the new manager will be young, up-and-coming but with some experience and a good track-record of developing players and over-achieving.

He won’t be a Derek McInnes-style ‘manager’. He’ll be a Head Coach who will be hired to work with the players Star Lizard identity. Or at least, that’ll be the plan going forward.

I’m half-joking when I type this but Liverpool FC must be scratching their heads that this is all going on at Hearts after they put in a mega-millions bid for the rights to the Bloom data. 😄

I suppose that you wouldn't sell it to one of your direct competitors. The thing that would concern me about buying data, is that it still needs to be interpreted and used to it's best ends.

Indeed, and just because it works for Brighton & Hove Albion and RUSG in Belgium, it doesn’t necessarily guarantee that it’ll work in Scotland .

To give it the best chance to work, Hearts will have to go ‘all in’ with Tony Bloom’s Jamestown Analytics. There will always be that element of luck and chance. He is quite literally a gambler.

But Bloom’s reputation will also be on the line here. He’ll (hopefully) make sure it’s successful.

I think Hearts are a long way off from ever being able to challenge Celtic for the title, but it would be nice to win a cup or two and get a half-decent run in Europe. That would be a success for me.

I think everyone is a long way off ever challenging Celtic for the title. I think that there are a small cadre of good Scottish clubs that do regularly underachieve aside from small (very small in Hibs case) periods of success that are not sustained. I think everyone would like to see a more competitive Division. Good luck with it.👍

Having semi's at hampden will always mean the Glasgow 2 have the edge before a ball is kicked in anger.
regarding the league yous probably pushed best out of the also rans, recently.
Scottish football needs a strong old firm plus a couple of others to nick points of them ,just to give us others a slim chance.
