Scousers are naturally funny. I grew up in a house of them (in Aus) & from a young age I could make people laugh. It's a spontaneous thing, if I think about trying to say something funny it doesn't work. My son is freaking hilarious, he's always making us laugh. Whenever I visit Liverpool I seem to meet people with a deft turn of wit & ability to see the funny side of things. It must be in the blood.

I guess as Evertonians, a lively sense of humour stops us from going mad.

Phantom of the Opera (1943)
The worst of the universal monster movies I've seen so far. I didn't expect much from this in advance, and the story is actually fairly okay, but the (female) opera singing made large chunks of the film almost unbearable to watch. 5/10

Well there lies the problem. The second you stop to think about the joke rather then letting it just naturally flow. the joke is already lost...
( thinking kills humour !!
