2018/19 Seamus Coleman

If it does turn out that the end is coming for Seamus, then he, above all others, is the one Everton footballer I would like them to offer a job to, rather than lose him from the club entirely, his attitude, work rate, humility etc, is a perfect role model and he is already proving a great ambassador for the club!

Well said, brilliant post.

He’s been overrated a lot by the fans during his time here. He’s only really had one great season in all his time here, Martinez’s first season. The rest of his time he’s been pretty hit and miss.

He is for me DD, Coleman isn't the dynamo he once was but kenny is hibbert bad, I'm all for up for upgrading the RB slot, but kenny will never be an upgrade
It’s all about opinions, you don’t rate Kenny, fair enough, but plenty of us do : think back and remember Seamus in his first couple of seasons here, didn’t impress greatly but stuck at it and became a very good full back, I hope he can still get back to that form, in the meantime at least give Jonjoe a chance, he’s played, last season and this one in a team that is struggling to find it’s form, he’s done okay for me. One final point, Kenny centres a ball much better than Hibbert or
Seamus for that matter, give him a chance in a settled team.

Coleman has been a great player for Everton, but losing the physical edge to his game has finished him at the top level. The way that he mis-controlled a tame cross out for a corner on Sunday, at a time when the team was really under pressure, was as embarrassing as it was infuriating.

I'd honestly rather play Kenny at this point.

I bet the player himself is so frustrated also.

It must be so tough to deal with and he's honest enough to admit it sooner rather than later I reckon.

Yeah, he doesn't look as though he's enjoying his football anymore.

I'd like to see him get a warm send-off and perhaps drop down a level in the summer. With the amount of top flight experience he has, he could still have a lot to offer in the Championship.
