I thought he played well today, never looked in trouble.
Ok his days of bombing up and down the wing may be coming to an end, but with the midfield options and Hames and Richy occupying the wider positions and cutting inside maybe his role wont call for it as much as in previous seasons.

Spurs clearly targeted him as they though he’d be the weak link but Seamus was brilliant defensively throughout and even started getting forward a bit more towards the end of the game, would have been nice if his shot had gone in.

He's a funny one Seamus - some games he's completely done for pace but others he has a great game.
