Could just do with the fact that he has infinitely better protection in midfield and actual creativity up front that can pick him out when he darts forward. He's far more confident and comfortable doing the things he used to do now, albeit definitely a little slower than peak Seamus

belated response but I thin we were very reliant on him creating from the right and he never has had a great cross. But with James in front creating around the box he is able to focus on what he does best. Is having a very good start to the season

Happy birthday captain.
Happy birthday Seamus.

Godfrey will probably have to already replace Mina as I don't see him recover after probably playing the 90 minutes with Colombia plus the trip back with zero recovery time. So Coleman better be fit for the match.

These internationals have properly done us.

They shouldn't even have kin international games going on anyway during a pandemic - loads of players from different squads mingling what could possibly go wrong.

Morons.

Allied to the fact South America is seeing an alarming increase in cases, it’s one of the hot spots in the world for the spread of the virus. But it’s ok according to FIFA we’ll still carry on regardless.

Oh you can bet Richarlison and James will end up catching it and be missing for 2 games which could cost us vital points.

I think he’ll call it quits on Ireland now, tbh.

34 for a potential World Cup, which is significantly harder to qualify for.

Might finish the Nations League campaign, but that’s that.

I’m another laymen American that still refers to the sport as Soccer. But even us stupid Americans know someone that means more To a team, plays harder, and just deserves to be on the pitch. And Coleman is one of those guys. He might not have the legs of a 25 year old. But he has heart. And heart many times is more valuable than speed.
