Totally agree, talking about flogging a dead horseSeamus needs telling to knock off the international football at his age and with his injury record. We pay his wage. Some captain he is.

We are gick. Coleman is our best player be miles. How do Ireland not have a better right back than him at this point?
Think it was clearly underlined there that the presence of James in front of him and unwilling to work caused him all sorts of problems on that day....something he wont experience with Townsend there. Why not read everyone else's assessments of his performances.
his games for us at right back, he's been awful.
T minus 3 days until Coleman / Digne or both have season ending injuries
Hasn’t been a week since the farcical transfer window and Coleman is injured already.
Our weakest position which for 3 years hasn’t been addressed by Brands
How did this buffoon get a 3 year deal?
What an absolute cock up!!!
Thats how it starts with Seamus...Next will be to start the next premier league game and having to be replaced after his first couple of sprints...then off until next international break just in time for irelandMuscle complaint hopefully is just a precaution
Why this obsession with fullbacks going forward? It's come about in modern football but you don't have t do it all the time.True although we simply can't have Kenny as a serious option at RB this summer mate and Holgate doesn't get forward enough to be a serious option there.
Why would Townsend need support from a fulback? Or anyone else for that matter.No. He was not.
He can get up and down that line all day and provide support for Townsend.
Not sure about a great job I remember him getting ragged everywhere by Liverpool. Just stood there and let them get cross after cross in.I'd put Godfrey in at RB.
Played there before and will do a great job.

It's impossible because if a right back better than Coleman came along England would poach him... Rice.... Grealish...How do Ireland not have a better right back than him at this point?
Was Grealish a right back? It's impossible because if a right back better than Coleman came along England would poach him... Rice.... Grealish...
Poach? Neither Rice or Grealish are Irish. It's impossible because if a right back better than Coleman came along England would poach him... Rice.... Grealish...
I think TippBlue is referring to the fact that Grealish could have elected to play for Ireland as at least his grandparents are Irish. I’m not sure about his own parents but he did used to play Gaelic football as a kid. I don’t think that qualifies him as being poached though. He might embrace his Irish heritage but at a professional level with the standard of footballer he is unless he was born there it would be a big shock if he would have elected to play for IrelandPoach? Neither Rice or Grealish are Irish.
England that currently have four right backs in their squadIt's impossible because if a right back better than Coleman came along England would poach him... Rice.... Grealish...
Yup, Rice was born in Kingston upon Thames and Grealish in Birmingham, Grealish’s great grandfather played for villa and was capped by England.Poach? Neither Rice or Grealish are Irish.
