When people on here look at the players filling shirts for Everton and look back over the last number of years at the people we have bought and you think that Seamus Coleman deserves picking out for special criticism you really want to have a wee word with yourself. He isn't being picked because he is Bill Kenwright 's love child, he is picked because he is the best that we have. That is not his fault, that is an issue for the management of the club, my grannies aunty could have told you that Coleman wasn't going to be able to play week in week out at 34 given his injury history but management have hung him out to dry.
Picking on players of his stature within the club while giving others a free ride is contemptible, picking on players while giving the Board that allowed managers to bring in people who simply aren't good enough is unforgivable.

I have never seen or been party to "no blame" culture, it appears to me to be to be a construct of the reactionary right wing to allow them to blame the people who least deserve the blame. Blame Chelsea and Everton for their connection with Putin through oligarchs but don't blame the Government for buying oil from him. Blame the poor for being poor but don't blame the system that allows the wealthy to cream of billions and keeps them poor. Here we have the same "no blame" culture, blame the players for being crap but don't blame the people who allowed these crap players to arrive at Goodison. If I was Kenwright I would be laughing my socks of at the idiots who are turning on the players, what is Coleman to do, breach his contract and tell Frank "I am not playing, I don't think I am good enough anymore". If Gomez refused to play he would be sued for breach of contract by the half wits who brought him here. All anger should be directed at the decision makers, tackle the cause not the symptom.
