Hell of a lot of teams who'd take that deal and much more. But agreed to a certain extent.....we've had the valuable years for next to nothing.

I’ve never questioned his previous years, up until about 5 years ago he was a very good player. Since then he has declined season, upon season.

It isn’t his fault that we haven’t replaced him, but having not replaced him has cost us as he’s a weak link.

When him and Baines were in their prime both were absolutely class to be fair. Hard to blame Coleman too much now as I suspect even he knows he should’ve been replaced years ago

I was thinking along the same lines, but only Azpilicueta I can think of as a competent CB who is a comfortable fullback. Can’t think of anyone else really.

Matthias Ginter who us on a free this summer. Played both roles for Germany, Gladbach and Dortmund. Also a leader.

Depends how Benitez sets us up, he had Johnson, Arbeloa, Finnan and Carragher at right back while he was there (and the legenday Josemi) so its very hard to say what type of full back(s) he would aim for.

Either way, any opposition manager should look to double up and target Coleman. Hes a major weak link.

Im absolutely sick of his soundbites in the media as well.
