In a stable defence I’m confident Coleman can still do a job and will give 100% every game with the added benefit of onana and Gana ahead of him also I don’t see a problem in Coleman playing

Very experienced back up. Could be a hell of a lot worse.….he lacks Patterson athleticism & powers of recovery but I don’t see Coleman letting the team down. Much happier having him as back-up than Kenny or playing Holgate out of position.

Matt Doherty. He'll probably start for Ireland v Scotland on Saturday and pull a hamstring. What's Plan B?
He will, I’m sure.…I agree, Matey, I think he’ll be fine with Coady & Tarkowski.
Free travel/time home from time to timeWhy hasn’t he retired from international football yet? It’s not like he has any hope of going to a major tournament or anything. I would’ve thought our captain and leader would like to preserve himself for the club that pays him very well and has stuck by him through a horrific injury previously (that he picked up on international duty)

Exactly it’s about Coleman knowing his limitations now and adapting plenty of cb have had no pace but very clever and read the game just need Coleman to keep his position that’s also down to Lampard player management as wellColeman this season will be very much like Baines in his last season. Everyone knows his legs have gone, but with proper back up (which he would get from Tarks, Coady, Gana etc.) he will be fine. Lampa just has to tell him to spand the whole match in his own half, let others put in the miles, he just sits back and defends!
