Must confess it made me a bit emotional to know Seamus might play for us again, I thought he was done and that was a really sad way to end. Hopefully he hasn’t used up our miracle count for this season.

He’s shown on the pitch he deserves a contract for next season, I’m sure if we do go down his demands will be appropriate.
 

Delighted for Shea - come back stronger skipper. If that doesn’t inspire and motivate the squad I don’t know what will.

Bit of good luck for a change, after seeing the injury I really feared the worst for his knee/acl.
 
I still remember the day when he came on vs Spurs to replace either Neil or Hibbert. To have a pacy right back contributing in attack and assisting in both goals was remarkable. We came from 0-2 to 2-2 with Howard saving a pen.
 
I love Seamus as much as the next blue, but if we sling him a new contract we want our kin heads checking.

Testimonial yes, absolutely, new contract, not a chance.

If he's interested in doing his badges obviously support him with that, but you can't go giving him a new contract out of emotional loyalty.

We’d be giving him a new contract on the basis he’s been one of our best players this season and we’ve been much worse when he hasn’t played.

If we go down I would give him a new contract. Hopefully he would take a pay cut. would still be very useful in the championship.
