2022/23 Seamus Coleman

I've had a few ales tonight (Guinness coffee cold brew, highly recommend) which is rare for me.
Felt the need to post that Seamus is an absolute legend. One of the best value buys of the Premiership era.
Name me a better value buy?
The lad is limited by his age only. I know we tend to frown at this seemed 'jobs for the boys' era at our club BUT Seamus should be offered a role here, whatever league we are in. He can distill passion and pride into a new generation and teach them what it means to have the roar of the fans and how that actually means more than having 10k followers on tiktak or whatever meaningless social media.
Maybe I'm just a drunk middle aged
, grumpy man but I feel the modern game needs more passion and Seamus epitomises the game, as it should be played, for me.
Anyway, I'm off to bed with 2 gaviscon and a sincere hope the wife or kids don't wake me before 9am.

Peace

Have they now actually realised what this Club means to so many....Séamus rallying them from the stretcher and now this tonight.

Oh but he is finished....

COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!

We know your views on Séamus. Fine.

Tarkowski's comment a lot more pertinent than your trite dismissal- enough of this thanks.

I will celebrate this evening. You might consider changing the record.
Great to see him having a resurgence of form these last few months.

He's been alright this season, one of our top players. The reason where we are is because each week a player makes a bad error, Seamus now included, doesn't hide the other decent work he's been doing. Can't defend him for that error but can't toss out what he's been achieving.

Charlie Sweet was Coleman's biggest fan on here until recently. I like Coleman too, I think he does a good job for someone at the twilight of his career.

Didn't think I'd say this this time last year, but we will miss him big time today. We're so weak in the fullback areas.

Horrible, and the second time it's happened to him if ligaments, poor guy. Gutted for him, been one hell of a player for us, I dunno if he plays again in any competitive way.

60 grand. Staggering even today. Surely one of the best buys in history. Southall would be THE best but what a transfer.
These views? Carry on. I support Everton by the way.

@Bluerover yes that's not all he's done for the club is it, as shown by about 8 quotes from myself above. We just won 5-1, why are you here in a thread about a player that didn't play today, it's typical of this section of supporters and frankly strange, why don't you go and celebrate Patterson's fantastic performance in his thread.

My final word on this my dear friend....

It was you who came into join this 'thread about a player that didn’t play today' to make your rather dismissive comments.

You bumped the thread trying to put this win down to Coleman giving fistpumps 10 days ago! Then incorrectly assumed my stance on the Everton legend Seamaus Coleman, before running from the thread with your tail between your legs. Man Alive.
