Agreed but if his pace gets us up the pitch then we dont need to defend as much.Looked great going forwards but he'll of a lot to learn defensively AT

Why? He’s just a footballer that plays for us. He’s a paid employee, he doesn’t play for free. Why should we hold him to different standards than the other players?
Wasn't digging you out there mate; just in case that's what you thought.
I just feel some deserve a little more respect, Coleman being one of them.
I'd throw Baines in the same bracket as an example of players who could have moved onto "bigger" teams but for whatever reason didn't.
That affords a certain level of appreciation for me.
Baines did have concrete interest from Man Utd so I get that, but I don’t recall anyone coming knocking for Coleman ever, aside from vague newspaper rumours.
In 2015 there were reports that PSG had bid and United and Bayern were both set to make offers. Only the PSG one got rubished from what I recall.Baines did have concrete interest from Man Utd so I get that, but I don’t recall anyone coming knocking for Coleman ever, aside from vague newspaper rumours.

He was one of the better rbs in the league in his prime. To think a very good RB in the premier league going to a top club is hilarious is a bit strangeSee this is what I mean. There were also “reports” that City wanted Tom Davies and Mason Holgate at one point.
Coleman at Bayern or PSG would’ve been absolutely hilarious to be fair.

If you compare Coleman to Davies and Holgate, you've got a bit excited and went too far.

That's your opinion no need to apologiseOr maybe you should ask yourself if he was ever as good as we wanted to pretend he was.
He’s never had the mentality to play for a top club and has always had too many glaring weaknesses defensively. He’s also far too one footed and his crossing has never been up to scratch. A top team was never going to buy him based on his scowling abilities. Sorry if you don’t want to hear that.
How many attempted galvanizing pep talks has he given at this point? I love seamus but a career as a motivational speaker doesnt seem likely after his football careerThat's the thing with Coleman: talks a good game, but his actions speak louder than words. I'm Irish. He has no business at 35 playing for the national team - especially given his injury record. He's no hero when he's not available for the club in its hour of need.
