Always find it strange how footballers get so many viruses, bugs, 'illnesses'. For modern athletes dieting like they do it is surprising how many are laid out for weeks unable to play or train whereas your average man ploughing away in a tiring job might pick up the odd common cold.

Gonna be another frustrating game if him and Baines are again both out. Galloway and especially Browning don't get forward enough which is gonna leave our midfield more work to do in breaking down 10 men behind the ball. Can see another frustrating 1-1.

Galloway was probably our biggest attacking threat against Arsenal. Not saying a lot, I know, but this idea he doesn't get forward is so wrong. He really, really does.

Browning, yes, doesn't get forward, and I'd probably play Stones there if RM is confident in Galloway to slot in at CB and Oviedo to be at LB.

Or Stones right back, Mori and Galloway centre backs, Oviedo left back.

It would be nice if we could stop sustaining injuries to our back 4 though.

.....I always fear making numerous adjustments when one will do. If Coleman is out then replace him, I'd like to leave Mori/Stones and see how that partnership develops.

He's not natural in his attacking play and against the sides that sit back it's more to our disadvantage. Baines and Coleman will naturally know when to make runs into space/overlap etc. The young lads are CB's and are more slower/cautious on the ball which gives the opposition time to get back into position.

The first goal is gonna be key on Sunday, get that and they will have to come out and attack whereas if they score expect a 1-1 with us dominating the ball but being frustrated.

I was impressed by Galloway's advanced play vs Arsenal, wasn't it him behind Lukaku when he hit the bar ? Galloway is growing each game and for the time being I'd leave him at LB especially vs Adam Johnson, give him 5 minutes to sort him out and put in his back pocket, the rest of the match he can bomb forward.

Browning has previously shown that he can get forward (vs. Utd @ OT last season when he came on as a sub), just hasn't done so much this year. I think a lot depends on who plays in front of the RB, Lennon gets back well, I doubt that Gerry can tackle.

I'd leave Stones & Mori to continue to build their understanding in central defence, Galloway at LB, start Lennon at RM and play any of Browning / Oviedo / Kenny / Holgate at RB.

Yeh I reckon Lennon at RB is a decent shout. But Browning does give us a bit more strength at the back.
