If two people can share a bit of humour moments after a challenge like that then that shows how messed up some people really are. Most, if not all, watching the game on TV are sat there horrified. He's a few metres away. What could he and/or someone else possibly be joking about?

It's not even a footballing thing it's just being an empathetic human being.

And please don't bring up a battlefield like it's even relevant.
My best friend has one of the darkest humors of anybody I've ever met, and he is probably the best person I have ever met. I don't think Ledley had any ill will

Battlefield, people getting shot or blown up or whatever, lots of different psychological strains vs a contested football pitch with an over the top challenge.

I don't care if your mate got his arm shot off and you laughed. That's you, not a football player on the pitch.
If Coleman was a Liverpool player nobody would be arsed at what Ledley did, it's the fact that he plays for us and everyone is angry so you're all fuming at one fella who dared to laugh when something he had no control over, had nothing to offer and could be of no assistance starts walking back to his own half and has a little joke with another person.

If it was them lot kicking off over this you would all be laughing at them "losing their heads" because Joe Ledley had a giggle.

Oh yea soz I'll take my nap because you're too precious.

Show me any reason why someone would laugh at that. And no this isn't a warzone.

In fairness, a picture is taken in a split second... It could be taken out of context.
It could've been an awkward smile or it could've been a sarcastic smirk because he (very wrongly) felt aggrieved by the sending off.

Just look at that London Bridge picture from this week with the Muslim woman on the phone.

Replace tonight's incident with when Muamba collapsed on the field for Bolton. A picture pops up of a player doing what Ledley did. What would your honest reaction be?

Ah thank you very much. Finally someone else who sees it for what it is.
