Gutted about this, its been an amazing week and this has put a real stink on the end of it, pointless International football that no one cares about, I didnt see the game but heard Bale also did a horror tackle, pathetic from Wales. Be suprised if we see him until the end of the next season, just awful
Bale should have seen red another leg breaker fortunately just missed!

Should've known something like this would happen. With him, McCarthy, and schneiderlen all out this lead up to the derby is going well....

Absolutely gutted for Coleman. Why is it whenever we get good news or things are going well something bad's got to happen to balance it out.

I hope he comes back and is the same player we know and love.

It's a shame the match was farce from the start, they've been winding each other up all week, you would have thought matches like this would be consigned to non league games. The ref should have got on top of it much much earlier.

I think a compound fracture is where the bone comes through the skin and this means it is out of alignment - unfortunately this also suggests it is not clean.

Go mbeannaí Dhia dhuit! Tá an náisiún leat!!

Don't get the point of fuming over it being international football.. i understand its frustrating he got hurt while playing for someone other than Everton but its not a McCarthy situation where he wasnt fully fit with a soft issue problem. He was injured because some gash player put in a god awful tackle. Could've just as easily happened in the derby, or any other match. Look at Oviedo his happened against Stevenage ffs. If someone decides to put in disgusting challenges it could happen anytime. Im gutted it happened, I feel for Seamus and wish him a quick recovery. One of my favorite players, who plays with great passion for his club and country. Great example for youngsters

I had spiral fracture on my fibula. [Poor language removed] killed when it first happened on the challenge but when I lay still it wasn't so bad at all. People say it was the shock that kept me so calm. I think they were right. I honestly thought it was just a bad sprain.

When the doctor showed me the X-ray I near enough passed out!
