I don't think we were competed mate, we created pretty much nothing, needed a pen saving, Newcastle's finishing was atrocious otherwise they'd have scored 3 today.

Plus let's not forget Newcastle were missing their best player too in Isaak

So many overrated players. The media likes to talk about how it’s good that they are back in the big time.

They just have a bunch of thugs in midfield and at the back…

Trippier is as bad as young
Keeper is not great

Defensively sound, Gordon missed a pen, missed an easy one on one, and we cleared one off the line by a miracle.

Not counting the other good chances they had either. But we should hd e conceded three today Dave, that's in no way a good defensive display., it's pure luck

I'm just tired of setting up at home like we are a League 2 team playing away. I understand we are defensively struggling right now with numbers and injuries but it's just depressing each week. We shouldn't be scared of the opposition at home, we should be the ones scaring them but we don't.

We couldn't beat a terrible Leicester dude away, scraped a result v palace after being battered for a half and should have been 2-3 down, and today if Newcastle could finish we should hsve conceded again about three

Agree with this. Their finishing let us off the hook. Battled well enough but there was absolutely no game plan to keep them out or to attack them.

My favourite part was where we declined to even attempt to score from an attacking set piece in the 93rd minute. Pathetic tbh

They have very good attackers; we restricted them to 3 shots on target...and that's without our best defender being on the pitch and no regular LB in there either.

It's a preposterous statement to say our defence didn't perform today.

These stats alone tell us everything we need to know about this dosser.

The one thing Dyche is meant to be known for is his defensive organisation & resilience.

He’s failing at the one thing he supposed to be good at.

As for the offensive attributes, there’s next to none. We surrender possession almost instantly, and play like a lower league team in the cup.
