2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Ha ha, clueless or you’ve been following Everton for 3 years , if you think we’re good to watch. Get yourself on YouTube and watch some Everton games from the past
Don’t be a bell. We all have opinions mate. I have enjoyed football under Dyche more than under Rafael and Frank. That’s enough for me at the moment.

Oh and if you need my credentials mate. I’m a third generation Everton supporter. I was sat in the Gwladys for Everton Wimbeldon, I was there for Rooneys strike against Arsenal, I was at Anfield for Super Kevs goal, I was at Goodison for the Palace game, I was outside Goodison when I couldn’t get a ticket for the Bournemouth game, I was also marching down county road holding flares singing until I couldn’t sing anymore when we needed all the support we could get, I was there outside Finch Farm cheering the players on as they left to goto Watford away, please don’t presume I don’t watch Everton, my Father and Grandfather would argue the opposite.

Dyche has easily been better to watch than Frank and Rafael as you said. That isn’t a high bar at all (and we need to get better at attacking one way or the other), but I am willing to give him a chance before I declare him this or that.

There is some obvious bias against him. It is because of his personality and that is what will stick with him for the entirety of his management career. If he wants to win endorsements from people though, he has to get his team scoring goals. Last season was harsh on he and the players because of the points deduction. He won’t get that excuse this year.

Simply just needs to get the job done and improve on last years finish.

He doesn't help himself with keeping young and Coleman in the first game. This is shocking and is taking the fans for mugs.

I agree with that and it is probably my biggest criticism of him. It’s cowardly imo. There is zero reason not to play Patto at this point. He needs to make these players better (even if only to prop them for a move). Young and Coleman are not the answer.

That’s my point, you’re comparing him to Lampard and Rafael
We’ve been a club a long time and had a lot of other managers.
The football is shocking to watch imo

He's going to be under a lot of pressure this season. We must not go down at all costs so at any point when it looks like we are dipping and in that danger zone, the media and internal club pressure is going to be huge.

Its a case of needing his 'men' on the pitch.
