2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Anyone see Pickford having a go at Dyche in the 2nd half? absolutely fuming he was
And he kicked the goal post in 1st half, his frustration was there to see today, he raged at the bench(Dyche) for a good few seconds in 2nd half, he can see what we all see.

I watched Dyche and Stone/Woan chat many times today, looking lost, is all I can make of it, but credit to Dyche making the subs, as DCL looks lost.

Dyche doesn't get any credit at all today , he was clueless . The subs were forced on him with Mc Neil going off injured.

Can’t really argue with 9 points in 5 games, it’s a good string of results.

But Christ that was awful

But it’s not though … it’s 9 from 9… or a point a game .

Just because we got a couple of wins against teams that have not won a game all season , doesn’t mean much tbh…

As soon as we come up against any team that aren’t cannon fodder we do nothing .

Again same as Newcastle the result isn't necessarily the main issue. I think many posters underestimated Fulham. They have looked handy all season and looked a far better team than us today.

The performance though was yet again dreadful. The ball was pumped long about 6 times in the first 10 minutes of the second half. We had no intention of playing football. We looked clueless and were lucky to only be 1-0 down.

Stop sugar coating it. No one is devastated that we managed to nick a draw. We are devastated having to watch the football served up most weeks.

We knew Fulham were a good outfit…

They’re a good outfit ….

But we know that ….

We didn’t do the ugly side of the game well enough today , the hard yards, tracking back, tackling , you know tha basics … that’s why we didn’t score .

But we will continue to work hard and there were signs good signs today , Keano was great as he has been all season , but things were bad before my time here and we are working hard to change the story .

Oh …. Back on the grass

Lot of managers through that tenure.

Johnson before Kenwright too.

Or are you just meaning anything post Moyes?
We won a pot under Johnson at the very least. But, yeah, the rot started there. However, in the Kenwright era, including Moyes' reign (knife to a gun fight) was where the messaging that we don't deserve to compete at the top, that we should accept whatever was served up to us, that finishing seventh was "good times", that hoping for a point, at home, against Fulham is a "100%" goal for posters on a fan forum began. Yes, the slope has been long, and Dyche didn't start it but he sure is continuing to run down it, but the fans should always aspire to better and shouldn't accept any new reality that means scraping survival year on year is our maximum goal. We haven't been relegated in 70 years, for goodness sake. Diminished aspirations lead to diminished outcomes.

I don't think he'll get sacked. He deserves it but I just don't see it happening. Despite us being shocking, its very obvious that there are easily three or four teams worse then us, which makes his job very easy. Relegation dodging is at best, all he's capable of achiving. I think he'll see his contract out and go away in the summer, all while spinning his time here into far more then actually was, he'll probably earn himself another job out of it.

I’m absolutely gobsmacked that he wasn’t interviewed for the England job. I would have loved to have seen Saka and Foden playing as doubled up full backs with Trippier and Charlie Taylor while Pickford launched it towards Kane and Bellingham, watching wave after wave of San Marino attacks while the team ranked one of the lowest in world football enjoyed 75% possession at Wembley.

San Marino are a good outfit…
