Beto had about 20 minutes and was invisible...too much walking and not good enough with the ball in his feet. He is an OK player, but he isn't the answer.

Not up front on his own no, so chuck him on with Calvert Lewin and go for it......

Dyche only knows how to play in a deferential manner: worry about the other side and how to nullify their strengths.

He never, ever sets us out on the front foot. He only sets us out to do our best to avoid defeat.

He actually does a good job of getting control of games like today but absolutely pointless when there's no end product. Players don't know where to run, there's no pattern to any of the play and in the end it all comes to nothing with momentum swinging back towards the opposition.

Brentford are strong at home mate, very beatable when they play away though irrespective of form.

There’s just no width whatsoever in attack. Crosses from deep positions are completely wasteful. Need to push further forward

He's safe as houses until takeover.

What I don't understand is he must know the new owners will be looking to get rid if results don't improve or definitely at the end of season.

It's the biggest job and salary he'll ever get in football and he's just sleepwalking into the sack/his contract not being renewed.

Even for his own self preservation, you'd think he'd have tried something different/more positive this season.

10 points from those 11 fixtures is worse than anyone could've imagined.

Yes - because the control is still motivated by wanting to stop the opposition. That’s all very well, but at some point you need a plan for starting your own side.
