Whilst it still lacked the quality in final pass it showed these players can press, can find triangles and pass around midfield, can control the ball. Just can't score.
The problem is that you can see plain as day that the players don't believe in dyche and his set-up, so even when they are allowed a little more freedom they can't move beyond the mindset that has been drummed into them. Then as soon as we concede that is it, they have zero belief or expectation that they can get back into it.
