2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

giphy.gif

If we don’t sack him this week, I wonder does this make TFG incompetent.

It’s an interesting discussion.

Fascinating to see the outcome.

When you send your team out to perform as non-league minnows against Champions League opponents - regardless of the opponent - don't be surprised if you lose most of your games. A disgrace of a manager surely the worst in terms of points per games in our history.
And the worst squad in recent memory....probably close to the first few squad moyes has had to do miracles with during his first couple of years after rooney departure.

Very easy to blame the manager...the fact is that there are no other manager out there available that would be able to keep us in the league with maybe the exception of moyes. What we need to see is the manager backed with a net spend for the first time in January, and a significant one too and give him or his successor a chance to be successful

I wouldn't give Dyche a cup of sugar, let alone a transfer budget. Your absolutely mental if you can't see this is it, this is him at his best, this is how he performs as a manager season in, season out.

Decent performance over the Christmas period Can tell the squad is thin, drop off at the end of City and today being the biggest indicators that we're probably working at 40%.

Chairman needs to back us in the market to address the squad size and options - especially at full back and going forward
WTF?

I honestly cannot tell if you are serious?

So he can buy more hoof merchants ?

Not the best idea with a new manager coming in.

H Chelsea
A City
H Forest
A Bournemouth (Jan 4th)
H Villa (Jan 15th)

Were on P15 15pts

I think Dyche will be monitored with the 'hope' of the Friedkins that he can deliver positive results up to and including the Bourmemouth game.

My guess would be 6pts+ (P19 21pts+) and he'll be in the hotseat for Villa.

My reasoning is the cup game with Peterborough giving us 11 days between the Bournemouth / Villa games. Thats a decent amount of time to pull the trigger on a new manager.

As much as we would love a top manager to come in asap, I think if Dyche can get us to P19 21pts after those fixtures he'll have done well.

If things look poor along the way he'll be sacked any moment.

Unable to reach 21pts, SACK

Just waiting for the excuses
No disgrace losing to them, they’re a quality side (who were in a relegation battle last season)
We’ve had some really tough games of late and it’s taken its toll physically on us…. (so have forest and they had to make a change prior to the game).
We dominated possession but lacked a spark in the final third… (under his style of management we find it difficult to break teams down week after week).
Sick of his excuses for the performances served up.

No - it makes them new to the club. I’m sure however they must have heard rumblings so will be interested to see whether his continued tenure is linked to any transfer business in January. If it’s all Thelwell, it wouldn’t really matter if they sack him.
