2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

"How dare my team who's blinkering on relegation try to win a game in the dying minutes, haha" – 💩 patter
He’s just poked fun at himself mate, to most that would be a positive sign of humility and not arrogance?

Perhaps the arrogance is from those determined to attack his character as they don’t want him as *checks notes* the manager of the sports team they like.

I’m all confused now.

Before he joined, some people were desperate to distance him from the whole Dycheball/play-for-draws/park-the-bus reputation, trying to convince me that with a bigger club, he’d play more expansive football. It’s been two years, and we look more like Burnley now than ever before under his management.

Comments like “I was telling them to take it to the corner” after a 4-v-2 goal-scoring opportunity that could’ve earned us two extra points aren’t funny to me—apologies.

Sounds like a bit of 'haha' deflection from the fact he doesn't train the team in attacking patterns and their brains froze, but sure, the most cock sure 'before I got here', 'it's the players', 'it's the noise', 'it's the fans', interminably non-responsibility taking 'leader' was showing humility
Good one!

He’s a manager of a football team you’re fond of mate, not a merciless dictator sending innocent humans to their death.
