2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

What is Dycheball?
Is it Mourinho at Chelsea circa 2005 but with drastically inferior players?
Is it a unique approach honed by the Dychosaur himself, that is dreadfully ineffective regardless of what players he could call upon?
Is it somewhere in between?

Could TFG buy into his methods and wish to provide him with players better suited to his aims? If so what is required?
Clearly our Xg suggests someone who can put the ball in the onion bag, but if 50% of our draws became wins and 50% of the losss became draws because someone can score, would his style be tolerable?
I think it sits somewere between going 13 games without a win and blowing a 2 nil
lead with a itv telly advert break to go

I think generally it’s difficult to see us having a worse second half which would put us at 34 points, so the question then becomes (if we do have as bad a second half) whether the three teams below us can achieves 34 or over. Doubtful, as most teams that come up tend to have a poorer second half of the season, but you simply never know. Have a lovely New Year.

Ipswich will be better 2nd half of the season i expect as their new players will have had some time with the squad and local area now.

Adaptation period for them and now they'll be after anyone including United.

They`ll get a great lift out of the win they got v Chelsea. We all expected a run of bad defeats in December, but having got through a tough run of games at least looking like we have learned how to keep the ball out of the net, we put in another poor performance at home.
Not being able to really pose a serious threat to score is really killing us. Dyche had the same problem in his last year at Burnley and he could not solve it. Burnley left him in charge too long and went down. I just can`t wait till Dyche get the chop but I hope when he does that we have a replacement ready to go straight to work and we don`t have a wait like we did mid season when Koeman was sacked.

Presumably they know this already
Surely one of them in the organisation has had even a cursory glance at his record
you would hope they do know, however their are people in the media circles who thinks Dyche is doing amazing Tony Bellew, Henry Winter amongst others, the thing with him he spins his yarns very well for people to believe that he is doing well.

However us fans see it differently, we actually have to watch his team week in week out, listening to his drivel and excuses, watching him make the same mistakes each week picking the same players, who we can all see simply don't work.

There are reasons why his teams don't score and don't win football matches and like I say TFG will not want their new investment fall out the top league

I think you could be right. McKenna is very good and the players seem to be slowly adjusting to the league. Injuries to some of their key players might come in handy!

Ipswich.

FFS, I've heard it all now.

Ipswich are going nowhere apart from the Championship; no fluke result against a Chelsea team that's just gone off the boil is masking that.

they have only conceaded 1 goal against Arsenal and Chelsea, they also scored 2 and they got 3 points out of the same 2 fixtures that we only got 2 out of.

The difference is they can win games we can't

They're 2 points behind us and played a game more and won as many games as we have.

They have a very tough January coming up. Let's see where they are at the end of it: baked into the relegation zone is the overwhelming likelihood.
