2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Recruitment got us into a terrible mess.

Only recruitment will get us out of it.

I don't think Dyche is the right manager to be giving the rebuild to. He was never getting that opportunity anyway. TFG were and are always going to bin him at the first opportunity.

But only when we can spend, will we attract a manager of the standing we need to progress us.

We've only been able to spend now for a few days.

I wonder what I get for using my massive influence to *checks notes* keep fans backing Sean Dyche.

Whatever it is, isn't enough.
Whatever you are doing also isn’t working, as even the ones who were supporting him most ardently are now all awol

Whenever it happens the Friedkin's legal team need to put a water tight non-disclosure clause / gagging order on him.
Or else we will be treated to him appearing at every opportunity on the t.v pundit circuit cryarsing about how badly done to he was and how he kept Everton up for two seasons on a budget of ten bob and a pickled egg.

My view is we're so rotten, a manager alone - and any of the type we'd have been able to attract prior to TFG won't resolve it. It being moving us away from the bottom of the table with this squad.

The club needs massive changes. Investment/recruitment. A new manager is inevitable. If I felt we'd be OK this season, I'd say keep Dyche until the summer when we can begin a proper rebuild under a manager who I suspect would rather not come in now.

But the margins are too small, and where we are now - I don't think we can afford what's now a glorified interim manager in Dyche managing a team with so many looking up their next/last contract.

My verdict then on the club is more negative than most. I'm in the minority in the summer saying it's another relegation scrap. And I'm in the minority now saying it's a relegation scrap until we recruit.

Put Mourinho in but if we don't spend a bean in the summer then Its another relegation scrap next season too.

We need BOTH investment and a manager who improves players/has an effective tactic to score goals.

Do you know you’re absolutely ridiculed on Twitter for being a caricature of Everton dars all trying to out do each other in super bloo delusion? There is nothing special about Everton or the fans. We’re a barely breathing relic, mate. Trying to have reasoned nuance debate on here is harder is a lesson in futility as your latent insecurity and painfully basic reasoning skills just turn it into like taking the Mastermind chair and placing it into any Benidorm bar of your choice.

My God I wished for so much more out of my tribe being an Evertonian but, like a lot of places, we’ve become swamped by mouth breathing emboldened simpletons who dominate the discussion by just standing and shouting the same painful mantras in marginally different ways over and over.

Mamba out.

I don't think this is the sick burn you think it is.

I hope Dyche stays only because, Christ, you’re self righteous joyless passive aggressive entitled bastards and I want to goad you to eruption on here when you’re faced with being wrong on the internet. Even if he takes us down I’ll find a way to irk your barely conceived self loathing.

Can Liverpool relegate us? Please give us this, it would be beautiful hubris.
