2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

I think the players probably do like Dyche. He’s tough and they relate to him. They respect him as a person. And that can be very different from liking him as a gaffer and his tactics. And if they don’t like him, It’s career suicide to say otherwise. You’ll be seen as a troublemaker and not a team player.

Another huge reason a lot like him is because of the Burnley connection. He rewards it. The Burnley players perspective is he’s a guy who gets them promoted and fights hard against the top teams. Problem we’re seeing now is everyone else not from Burnley you see frustration (Dom,Broja). If you’re Tarks and McNeil, what’s not to love?
Several of them dislike him and his tactics

You think too highly of our squad: it's as bad as there's ever been in the PL. I'm not kidding wither. They are pony apart from Branthwaite, Pickford, Tarkowski, Mangala and Ndiaye.
Nah i don't think highly of them at all mate. I can't stand most of them. I just know that they are definitely better than league 2 quality and would be nowhere near a relegation fight if they were being coached properly. You just named 5 really good players there BTW which is half a team.

There's definitely been a change in tone from media this week.

The 'noise' around the club has shifted to putting Dyche under more scrutiny. He's being asked questions he hasn't had to answer before about goals, chances, strikers.

It's hard/negligent for media to ignore - attacking performance is inescapably bad.

Feels like he's got back to the wall. Hopefully he can get performance (win) out of the them tomorrow.
Detected that and we get webbed in the next few he is gone. I want us to win because I care more about the club than Dyche. Also I just can't see TFG not having a list of candidates ready for this eventuality

I’m sure a bunch dislike him and his tactics and blame his style of play for their lot in the table and lack of growth. It also hurts their trade potential. Totally agree. I was saying that if you spent years with him at Burnley and you rose with him to the PL, you see him differently. And if he plays you all the time, you’ve got less complaints. Watching his tactics are like all the people in the movie Airplane who wanted to off themselves than listen to the same ol’ story from Ted Striker. God, we’re the passengers in Airplane 😫

New ally for Dyche Phil Jagielka just been speaking to Darren Fletcher on Five live. Telling us the same 💩 Bellew said with Dyche supposedly having one hand tied behind his back & telling us it's all about staying in the league. There was another guy on there that talked some sense (didn't get his name) but he really spoke well saying he thought we would have more ambition than just staying in the league like other clubs. Makes me sick this is being put out there STILL.

Tarks and McNeil fell out With him at Burnley towards the end. Like has been pointed out quite a few dont like him
And apparently James garner is one of them

Most people would just look at what he's achieved in terms of keeping two rank PL outfits like Burnley and Everton up in the PL for all but one season in 14 and handing them well over a 30% winning rate on average for all those seasons.
2 seasons, or are you one of them mentalists who think he takes no blame for relegation in 2022, despite managing about 80% of their games that season and won only 4

Agree it's weak in important positions, but as bad as Cardiff, Swansea, Norwich, Huddersfield? That's just silly.

Garner, McNeil, Gana are all mid/lower mid PL standard players, too. Maybe DCL too in better side - he's been phoning it in since getting booed at Villa, so hard to say.
