2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

If TFG do this they have failed already.
They’ve had months to plan and they should be doing it now, but to sack a manager and scramble around to rush another one in would be amateurish at best.
if they make a change which saves us, whilst it isn’t great, that decision will have been a successful one. Currently I just don’t see anything other than relegation with this manager

Says it all about his mentality. "Not a bad run if we had wins in it" is code for "we had some great draws - it's just we collapse against Bournemouth, Forest, Brighton, and Southampton."
He said it before
He believes that his job is the defence and organisation, goals and wins is the job of the cheque book and the chairman.

What he means is that we haven’t conceded much so he feels that’s his side of the bargain.

They have to spend money.

But, once you accept that premise, they would respond: we are not spending money on players the current manager either wouldn't play or will not be here to play after the summer.

They now need to have their man in place and back him. They had plenty of time to line this up.

Acid test for the Friedkins.

To be honest when i saw Harrison Armstrong come on at half time, i thought to myself, i think he knows or someone has told him he could be going.

You often see this with managers when they feel they are about to leave.

Its polishing the CV - give young players their debuts (i know it wasnt his debut).

The real barometer to me, is when the media all of a sudden and out of the blue, start having a pop at him.

This says that the club have given them the green light and the decks are getting cleared for a new man.

Tbh, other than a few sly digs from a select few, I haven`t seen it yet, so I don`t think he`s quite there yet.

One things for sure, is that he`s helping that process along with his after match stuff.

Wouldn't worry cos he couldn't get wins if they were offered to him for free, man's an idiot albeit a rich one unbelievably
True, but why lose the opportunity to win those games under a new manager.

He has to be gone by Monday.

We can then hear his interview slagging us off on Talksport come Tuesday.
