2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

I find it bananas anyone has the opposite opinion to be honest, he's a great Centre half, one of the most underrated in the league, has this been his greatest season - no, but for well documented reasons and bar the Forest in game, since recovering from his injury brilliant.

Im not even debating it, because i find it frankly stupid - no personal offence intended.

Can’t believe how stupid all those Champions League clubs are to never express an interest in him his entire life, even when he was a free agent. They should get you in as DOF.

Insane that at 32 he’s only played for Burnley and Everton in the Premier League.

Because he's a jobber who performs at his best in very defensive block were his best attribute, blocks is highlighted, soon as he has to defend in so e he's always looked very vulnerable, soon as he's partnered with a poor CB he goes down rather than drag the other lad up performance wise.

We talk about Branthwaite making a huge difference defensively - putting it all on Keane, but the other factor is when Keane played he was alongside Tarkowski - and bad as Keane is - his worst seasons have been playing next to Tarks - that doesn't equate in any way to a CL calibre CB - but a very limited one.

Or another way if saying it, we stayed up one season down to games Mina played, last season down to Branthwaite in large part. When they played the difference was noticeable and when they missed games Tarks dropped down hugely

He's a bang average centre half, nothing more. I find it frankly stupid that anybody would hold the opinion he's a CL centre half when he's never got remotely close to that level his whole career

Hey lad this 32 year old that’s never been within a several country mile radius of Champions League football, is actually a Champions League level player u know. I am very smart and studious.

Would be interested to see points per game instead.

I wouldnt. The win percentage is very important. The season he got sacked at Burnley he managed 30 games. Won 4. Drew 12. Lost 14.
We know he loves a draw. Theres a strong possiblity this season his love of a draw isnt going to cut it. Wolves closed a 7 point gap in a fortnight with wins.
He needs to up that win percentage. The club needs wins. Not a point per game ratio.

He's completely wasted any feel good factor from takeover.

Perfect opp to galvanise players and fans going into new year.

Meanwhile if Wolves beat Forest on Mon, they equal our 3 wins for the season in 15 days.

Totally lost players and fans.

I guess we had a little bounce with the 3 clean sheets against decent teams.

A dead cat bounce it seems.
