2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Quietly confident they will remove him this coming week, these owners don't become multi billionaires by keeping dross like Dyche in charge of their assets. Hopefully they are working on something with immediate effect, the fact they don't alert the media is a good thing. They ain't stupid people, they defo ain't BK and FM which gives me hope.

The only issue with those 13 game stats is that the other 2 managers did not start those seasons with 4 losses in 4.

In fact we won like 3 out of 4 with Benitez. That's why he got a little bit more time into January.
That's why I also included the half season stats because I realised it favoured Dyche and counted against Benitez.

All 3 in those half seasons have been horrendous. Lampard was marginally the worst.

Wasn't Moshiri a multi billionaire though.

I would love to speak to the 10%
It can’t be that 10% want him to stay. I think even those with the fear of the unknown have now realised that Sean Dyche is in all sorts of trouble, he is trying to save himself by playing for a draw. He knows he doesn’t have the ability to come up with a system whereby he can get the players at his disposal to play in way way were they can nick 3 points here and there and is doing the only thing he can and that is packing the defence and playing for 0-0.
I think we have reached rock bottom, any change now is a change for the better. Sack him before the players come in tomorrow morning.

Don't underestimate how terrified some Evertonians are of change.

They are scared of modern football. They take comfort in the museum that is Goodison Park...and our honours list. They are the very opposite of Sky Sports: football, for them, ended in 1992.

To them, having standards and demanding success is "Kopite behaviour". So, of course, is winning trophies and European titles.

They get the Everton they deserve. Sadly, the rest of us get that same Everton.

I’m still in the 10%, just. Not because I agree with him or the way he plays but because I still think he will keep us up.

I wouldn’t have picked that side yesterday. I find it bizarre that he’s not playing wingers who cross the ball in for Broja or DCL, such as Harrison on the left. I agree with you all that another manager would get a lot more out of the attacking players we have. I saw Wissa miss that chance for Brentford and thought, poor old Beto only gets to miss one of those and he’s hooked. The miss is magnified like missing a bus because there is only one a day.

We could do without another severance payment.

We really need a hard reset in the summer—full suite of coaches and leadership with some youth and energy in the squad. If we change now, and I’m not convinced I’m right by any stretch, we’ll almost certainly see us with either a manager to suit the squad (like Moyes) or worse, a manager that doesn’t and you can see what that’s doing at Manchester United.

Anyway, the owners will be assessing all the options. Relegation would be bad but not terminal, so rolling the dice isn’t as risky. Look at Villa.

Anyway fellow Evertonians, let’s get behind the team Thursday and trust the owners. There will be better times ahead.

That's Everton Football Club you just described.

Hopefully TFG will totally blow away the cobwebs and rid the club of this persona. Get rid of those people that are hangers on from the Kenwright days.
Hate what they've turned EFC in to.
